As suggesgted they are tethered down to the bottom of the lake with scaffold poles and underneath is a mesh cage arrangement which allows fish to swim through while not alowing predators etc. Mink, otters, Cormorants and the like.

 23lb + from peg 3166 viewsBen Hart with the biggest of a 9 fish catch in March 2012. This fish weighed over 23lb with the others being 2 x 10lb and 6 fish in the 5lb range. All were taken in an afternoon fishing close to the bank in very clear water. Very little feed was fed and was topped up after each fish. Apr 12, 2012

The fish was spotted along with others when looking around the lake using polarised glasses. When spotted it was a case of setting up away from the fish and gently lowering the bait to avoid spooking them.Apr 12, 2012
